Is the movie Mutual Appreciation available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?

At Stream Tracker, we’re looking at Mutual Appreciation (2005), Andrew Bujalski’s lo-fi, mumblecore portrait of Alan — a musician who walks away from a busted-up band to chase a new musical voyage in New York. Equal parts late-night gig diary and awkward romantic comedy, the film follows rehearsals, dwindling confidence, and the magnetic pull toward a good friend’s girlfriend. In this piece we’ll check current streaming options — including Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and AppleTV+ — and explain how to find the film across the major platforms.

Mutual Appreciation

Synopsis

Alan, a musician whose band has just collapsed, moves to New York to start afresh and chase a daring new musical direction. Determined to rebuild his life and career, he fights to stay focused amid the city's temptations—late-night gigs, creative rivalries, and the growing attraction to his close friend's girlfriend. As opportunities and moral tests mount, Alan must choose between ambition, desire, and loyalty.
