Synopsis

A prodigiously gifted pianist spends his entire life aboard a grand ocean liner. Discovered as an infant and raised among passengers and crew, he becomes a legend whose only window onto the wider world is the fleeting stories and faces that pass through the ship—he never sets foot on land, not even for the woman he loves.
