Roth Binew, escorted by his only friend Mills Joquin in a bicycle‑powered rickshaw, spends his last day enduring one ridiculous trial after another before mounting his makeshift stage for a final, mad performance — his living wake. In this offbeat fable of vanity, friendship and theatrical excess, the film’s warped charm comes from its deadpan humor and theatrical set pieces. This article checks where you can stream Binew’s last hurrah — including whether it’s on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or AppleTV+ — and will note any festival prizes or awards the film has picked up.
Synopsis
In a fable-like, timeless realm, K. Roth Binew — a flamboyant, self-styled artist convinced of his own genius — discovers he has only a single day left to live. He persuades his only companion, Mills Joquin, to ferry him about in a pedal-powered rickshaw as he embarks on one last, frantic quest to plumb life’s mysteries. Binew subjects himself to a parade of absurd, theatrical trials and provocations, each more ridiculous than the last, until evening when he mounts a makeshift stage in an open field for a final performance: a living wake where friends and foes alike gather to witness his glorious unraveling.
