Synopsis
At recess, Olivia, a foreign transfer who doesn't speak English, sparks a commotion when she joins Hanako Honda, a loud, airheaded chatterbox, in a game of "look-the-other-way." Their raucous behavior draws the annoyed attention of Kasumi Nomura, a deadpan loner endlessly teased by her older sister for always losing. Though she initially refuses to join the fun to avoid competing, Kasumi soon gets pulled in and adds her own brand of dry mischief. The three form the Pastime Club, a little refuge where they can carry on with their daily antics. From failed attempts to master English and desperate bids for popularity to getting caught by teachers at the worst possible moments, school life is anything but dull with these girls on the loose.
