Synopsis
In the steamy, morally crooked backwoods of late-1980s East Texas, a darkly comic swamp-noir follows two lifelong friends who navigate crime, corruption and their own complicated pasts. Hap Collins is a native with a knack for getting tangled in romantic trouble, while Leonard Pine is a gay, Black Vietnam veteran whose fierce temper is as much a shield as a weapon. Adapted from the novels of Joe R. Lansdale, the series mixes sharp humor, brutal violence and Southern gothic atmosphere as the pair take on enemies both external and internal.
