Synopsis
A quiet town is convulsed by a string of teen suicides that seem driven by a contagious, terrifying panic. When police officer’s daughter Nancy Thompson digs into the mystery, she uncovers a dark connection to Fred Krueger—a child abuser who was lynched and burned by furious parents years earlier—and realizes he has returned inside the dreams of those parents’ children, killing them in their sleep as an act of revenge. Nancy and her boyfriend Glen must devise a risky plan to drag this nightmare predator out of the realm of sleep and into the waking world before more lives are lost.
