Synopsis

Left without parents and raised among a flock of storks, teenage sparrow Richard is sure he belongs with them. When the storks prepare for their annual migration to Africa, they must reveal the truth: Richard is a sparrow and cannot survive the journey, so they reluctantly leave him behind. Refusing to accept their decision, Richard sets out south on his own to prove he’s a stork, and it’s only with the help of Olga, an eccentric owl who talks to an imaginary friend, and Kiki, a vain, disco-obsessed parakeet, that he stands a chance of reaching his goal—and of learning to accept who he really is.
