Synopsis

Paris-based wine merchant Steven Spurrier travels to California in search of inexpensive bottles to use as a foil in a blind tasting back in Paris. In Napa Valley he encounters an unassuming winery crafting exceptional Chardonnay, a discovery that both surprises and unsettles the haughty Englishman. Determined to bolster his reputation and prove a point to the wine establishment, he schemes to bring those bottles back to Paris for the contest.
