The film earned two Academy Award nominations (Best Original Score and Best Art Direction) and has since become a cult classic. In this article we’ll check whether Brazil is currently available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or Apple TV+, and note any regional differences in streaming.
Synopsis
A low-level government clerk named Sam Lowry finds refuge from his dull daily routine in vivid fantasies where he is a noble hero rescuing a beautiful stranger. While looking into a case that led to an innocent man's arrest and death in place of the fugitive Harry Tuttle, he unexpectedly meets the woman from his dreams. His effort to help her drags him into a maze of identity errors, blind bureaucracy and systemic deceit.
