Is the movie Compulsive Liar available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
On behalf of the Stream Tracker team, here’s a quick introduction to Compulsive Liar (2019) and where to find it on today’s streaming services. The film follows Simon Aubert, an aviation executive whose habit of lying becomes catastrophic when a mysterious, almost karmic twist (courtesy of a few oddly zen monks) turns every lie into reality on the eve of a high-stakes meeting with a Russian businessman—threatening the small-town plant where his twin brother works. Equal parts workplace farce and magical-realist comeuppance, the movie uses lies, truth and sibling stakes to drive a fast, chaotic comedy. It was a box-office hit in Quebec and drew local recognition. Below you’ll find whether Compulsive Liar is available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or Apple TV+.
Synopsis
Every aspect of Simon Aubert’s existence rests on fabrications. A high-level manager at an aerospace firm, he habitually tailors the truth to suit his ambitions — inventing credentials, relationships and stories with casual ease. When the small hometown factory that employs his twin brother Phil teeters on the brink of closure, Simon pins the plant’s fate on a make-or-break meeting with a Russian investor. Then, on the eve of that negotiation, the universe — as if overseen by a quiet circle of Buddhist monks — decides to make his tales come true, forcing Simon to face the fallout of a life built on lies.
