Is the movie Cookies available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
At Stream Tracker, we’re taking a look at Cookies — Joël Séria’s bittersweet tale of Henri Serin (Jean-Pierre Marielle), an umbrella salesman who trades the routine of his life for paint-splattered afternoons and impulsive amorous escapades in Pont-Aven. Framed by Breton gulls, Gauguin-tinged brushstrokes and an umbrella always at hand, the film is as much about escape and desire as it is about the quiet rebellion of a man who chooses art and love over conformity. In this article, the Stream Tracker team checks where you can watch Cookies today — whether it’s showing up on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or Apple TV+ — and what to expect from each platform’s offering. While Cookies isn’t broadly known as an awards juggernaut, it has long enjoyed a warm critical reputation for Jean-Pierre Marielle’s performance and its charming portrait of provincial life.
Synopsis
Henri Serin (Jean‑Pierre Marielle), an umbrella salesman, leads a quiet, orderly life divided between his business, his family and his love of painting. His frequent trips for work provide chances for secret flings, a welcome escape from the stifling routine enforced by his strait‑laced wife. One day he decides to abandon it all and live simply on love and fresh water. He winds up in Pont‑Aven, where he meets Émile, a local painter who emulates Gauguin; together they drink, pursue the company of women and indulge in the bohemian freedoms Henri had long been denying himself.
