Synopsis
Harvey, a spoiled, arrogant youth raised by an indulgent, absent father, tumbles from a transatlantic liner and is hauled aboard a fishing trawler on the Grand Banks. When he fails to persuade the crew to set him ashore or to accept his claims of wealth, the captain offers him a low-paid billet until they return to port. Forced to live and work among the hardy seamen, Harvey's entitlement is stripped away and he slowly matures into a more thoughtful, responsible young man.
