Synopsis
Beneath the ocean surface, scientists at the isolated Aquatica research station alter the neural makeup of captive sharks in a desperate effort to find an Alzheimer’s cure. The procedure produces an alarming unintended effect: the animals grow markedly more intelligent, faster, and far deadlier than anyone predicted. When a ferocious storm cripples the offshore facility, the research team is stranded with the very predators they enhanced—and must fight through the wreckage and the water itself to survive.
