Is the movie Dragon Ball: The Path to Power available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
At Stream Tracker, we check where to watch classics and cult favorites — starting here with Dragon Ball: The Path to Power (1996). This Toei Animation film offers a fresh retelling of Goku’s origin, reimagining his first meetings with Bulma and Kame‑Sen’nin (Master Roshi) and giving the Red Ribbon Army a reversed role as they hunt down the young hero. Packed with Dragon Balls, Shenron moments and trademark Kamehameha energy, it’s a nostalgic detour from the TV series rather than a remake. In the article that follows, the team looks at whether the movie is streaming on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or Apple TV+ and how to find it on each platform.
Synopsis
A reimagined origin of the Dragon Ball mythos that reshapes the first encounters between Goku, Bulma and the hermit Kame-Sen'nin, blending wonder, mischief and unexpected alliances. The Red Ribbon Army arc is also flipped: instead of Goku running into their schemes, the ruthless organization tracks him down first, turning his adventure into a desperate fight for survival that tests the bonds he forms along the way.
