Synopsis

Ash Williams and his girlfriend Linda stumble upon an isolated log cabin deep in the woods, where they find an old tape recorded by an archaeologist who had been chanting passages from a forbidden ancient tome. When they play the recording, a dark force is unleashed that begins to possess and consume Linda's body.
