Synopsis
When a fatal accident takes his beloved dog Sparky, imaginative boy Victor refuses to accept the loss and uses the eccentric skills he learned making homemade monster films to bring him back. Sparky returns alive but altered—bolts in his neck and a frightening new look—and his awkward, misunderstood behavior soon sparks fear across the neighborhood. Now Victor must persuade his wary parents and the frightened community that beneath the monstrous exterior, Sparky is still the loyal, loving friend he’s always been.
