At Stream Tracker, we keep tabs on where to catch cult favorites and guilty pleasures. Idle Hands (1999) is that midnight‑movie mashup of stoner comedy and demonic horror: Anton, a blissfully unambitious 17‑year‑old who lives to get high, watch TV and pine for the girl next door, finds that the old cliché about idle hands being the devil’s playground turns out to be horribly literal. With its mix of slapstick gore, possession beats and late‑90s slacker vibes, the film — starring Devon Sawa, Seth Green and Jessica Alba — has become a cult staple. Below, find out whether Idle Hands is streaming now on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or Apple TV+.
Synopsis
Anton is a sunny, perpetually unambitious 17-year-old who drifts through his days high, glued to the TV and quietly smitten with Molly, the beautiful girl next door. Happy to float along with no plans or purpose, he assumes life will stay easy—until his complacency opens the door to petty mischief and unwelcome consequences. As small mistakes begin to escalate, Anton faces a choice: keep hiding behind his haze or grow up and confront the fallout.
