Is the movie Irreversible available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?

At Stream Tracker, we check where to watch Gaspar Noé’s Irreversible (2002) on the major services — Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and Apple TV+. A brutal, disorienting ride told in reverse chronology, Irreversible drags the viewer through club rooms, underpasses and a night that can’t be unwound — “because some acts can’t be undone.” The film’s long, unforgiving takes and raw depiction of vengeance made it one of the most controversial releases of the early 2000s, garnering both outrage at Cannes and recognition on the festival circuit with several prizes. In this piece, we clarify whether you can stream Irreversible on Netflix or any of the other platforms today, and how to find it where it’s available.

Irreversible

Synopsis

After a brutal sexual assault shatters her life, a woman’s current partner and her former lover decide the legal system won’t deliver justice and take matters into their own hands. Fueled by rage, grief and the conviction that some injuries cannot be repaired by words or courts, they embark on a path of revenge that tests their humanity and blurs the line between retribution and ruin. As their actions escalate, they must face the moral cost of seizing justice themselves.
