The Taste of Things (2023) is a slow, sensual period drama set in 1889 France where chef Dodin Bouffant and his cook‑lover Eugénie share a history of cuisine and desire — and Dodin finally decides to cook for her in a gesture that’s part recipe, part confession. In this article I’ll look at whether you can stream this simmering tale on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or Apple TV+, and note any festival prizes or awards the film has picked up. Expect tasting‑table vocabulary — gastronomy, palate, mise en place — as I guide you to where to watch.
