Is the movie Lost in Translation available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
At Stream Tracker, we help you cut through the neon and find exactly where to watch films like Lost in Translation (2003). Sofia Coppola’s quiet, hotel-bar fable about two lost souls in Tokyo — a neglected young wife and a washed-up movie star — trades big plot for small moments: elevator rides, late-night conversations, lonely hotel corridors and the fragile connection that blooms between strangers. The film won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay (Sofia Coppola) and earned several other major nominations, including an Oscar nod for Bill Murray. In this article we’ll check whether that mood-soaked, late-night atmosphere is streaming now on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or AppleTV+, and tell you the easiest way to cue it up for your next quiet evening.
Synopsis
In Tokyo, a neglected young wife of a photographer and a faded movie star in town to shoot a TV commercial form an unlikely connection; away from their lives and expectations back in America, they find a quiet refuge in one another where they can drop their roles, speak honestly, and taste a brief, contemplative freedom.
