Synopsis

Tsotsi, a nickname meaning "gangster," grew up in Johannesburg's slums and ran away from his neglectful parents as a child, becoming a hardened teenage criminal. After stealing a car he discovers an abandoned infant in the back seat and, compelled to care for the child, begins to confront the violent choices that shaped him and to reconsider the life he’s chosen.
