Synopsis
1934. Private investigator Miranda Green is called to the British Embassy in Cairo after a murder and the theft of a top‑secret file — a breach that could undermine Buckingham Palace and spark a wider international crisis. Confined within the embassy’s walls, everyone on the scene becomes a suspect: an American photographer, a young English student, an American actress, the Egyptian security guard, the ambassador’s interpreter, the Egyptian gardener — even the ambassador himself. As Miranda untangles a web of lies and hidden motives, she discovers a far more dangerous plot: a small cell of Nazi agents scheming to use the stolen secret to ignite global turmoil.
