Synopsis
In the dim lights of Club Habana, awkward busboy Henry Cabot is hopelessly smitten with the club's captivating dancer, Conchita Montez. When local crime boss Tiger Martin gifts Conchita a diamond bracelet, he is abruptly arrested and later deported. Following Tiger’s expulsion, Duke Selton, one of his associates, visits Conchita to confide that he suspects Blackie Bennet—the head of a rival crew—betrayed Tiger by alerting the authorities to his immigration status.
