Synopsis
Mike McDermott, a poker player who believes he knows every angle of the game, suffers a devastating loss to Russian-American mobster Teddy KGB and wipes out his bankroll. He promises his girlfriend Jo he’ll quit, but when his old friend Lester "Worm" Murphy—just out of prison and neck-deep in dangerous debts—shows up, Mike co-signs for him. With violent creditors closing in, the only way to raise the money is to dive back into the high-stakes world he swore to leave, testing his loyalty, his limits, and the cost of addiction.
