Synopsis
On his deathbed, King David receives a vision naming his contemplative son Solomon as heir instead of the hot-tempered Adonijah, a decision that ignites bitter fury. Humiliated and enraged, Adonijah storms from the palace, vowing to seize the crown by any means. Across the region, autocratic rulers fear that Solomon’s compassionate leadership and growing devotion to a single God will unmake their polytheistic thrones. Seizing the moment, the Queen of Sheba forges a secret pact with the Egyptian pharaoh to seduce and corrupt Solomon, plotting to turn his righteousness into their advantage.
