Synopsis

crops fail, cities crumble, and ordinary people begin to behave in unsettling, inexplicable ways. Even stranger, dragons—beings thought banished from the human world—are appearing across the countryside, heralding deeper disturbances. Ged, a solitary wandering wizard, sets out to uncover the source of the corruption. On his travels he crosses paths with Prince Arren, a withdrawn teenager whose timid exterior conceals a terrifying inner force: a dark fury that grants him ruthless strength and single‑minded ferocity whenever Teru is threatened. The cunning witch Kumo sees an opening in Arren’s fear and rage, plotting to turn the boy’s shadowy power against Ged and seize control of the chaos swallowing the kingdom.
