Is the movie Tangerine available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?

Christmas Eve in Tinseltown, a cracked city of neon and cheap glamour — that’s where Tangerine (2015) takes you. Sean Baker’s raw, kinetic black comedy follows Sin-Dee and her best friend Alexandra as they race across L.A.’s streets and subcultures to confront a cheating pimp, winding through strip clubs, Armenian family drama and the city’s trans working-class life. Shot on an iPhone and propelled by unforgettable performances from Kitana Kiki Rodriguez and Mya Taylor, the film premiered at Sundance and won critical acclaim — Mya Taylor picked up the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female. In this article the Stream Tracker team checks whether Tangerine is currently streaming on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or AppleTV+ and explains the easiest ways to watch it.

Synopsis

Christmas Eve finds Sin-Dee back on her old block in Los Angeles. When word reaches her that her pimp boyfriend might have been unfaithful during the 28 days she spent behind bars, she and her best friend Alexandra set out to uncover the truth. Their frantic, often uproarious search propels them through the city’s mosaic of subcultures, from dingy alleys to bustling family homes, and draws them into the lives of an Armenian household wrestling with the consequences of its own infidelity.
