Is the movie Team America: World Police available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
World Police (2004), that blunt, puppet-driven satire from Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Equal parts marionette mayhem and R-rated send-up of geopolitics and Hollywood, the film follows the heavily armed Team America unit as they recruit troubled Broadway actor Gary Johnston to stop Kim Jong-il’s global plot—while tangling with the sanctimonious Film Actors Guild. Expect loud gags, explosive set pieces and plenty of puppet strings. In this piece we’ll also map out where to watch the film today: whether it’s hanging out on Netflix, hiding on Disney+, popping up on Prime Video, or available on Apple TV+. The movie didn’t scoop major industry awards, but it’s remained a cult favorite for its savage satire and unapologetic tone. Follow along as the Stream Tracker team checks current availability and helps you find the quickest route to the chaos.
Synopsis
When Kim Jong-il, North Korea’s leader, launches a scheme to spread chaos across the globe, an elite, heavily armed response team is dispatched to stop him. To complement their tactical expertise, the unit recruits Gary Johnston, a volatile Broadway actor whose charisma and instability make him an unpredictable but valuable asset. As they chase the conspiracy through international hotspots, the operatives must contend not only with deadly threats but also with the Film Actors Guild — a vocal group of Hollywood figures and liberal critics who fiercely oppose the team's interventionist tactics. Tensions between military force and celebrity protest, along with Gary’s struggle to prove himself, create a high-stakes collision that will decide whether the plot is foiled or the world slips into turmoil.
