Synopsis
Young Robert Graham, drunk and trying to protect his girlfriend, kills a man and is prosecuted by the ambitious Mark Brady, receiving a ten-year sentence. Six years later Brady becomes the prison warden and offers Robert an unexpected chance at a new life as his personal chauffeur. Robert begins to rebuild himself, but on the eve of his pardon a violent episode involving his former cellmate threatens to pull him back into crime, forcing him to choose between freedom and a return to the past.
