The Debt

Synopsis

Thirty years after a covert operation in East Berlin that she believed ended with the death of the notorious camp surgeon, retired Mossad operative Rachel Singer is drawn back to Eastern Europe when a man surfaces claiming to be that same war criminal. Forced to reopen old wounds, she must untangle a web of lies and evidence to determine whether the man is an impostor or the very figure she once pursued. Haunted by the vivid memories of her younger self and the two colleagues who carried out the operation beside her, the once-hailed heroine is compelled to relive the trauma of that night and face the moral debts the mission left in its wake.
