Synopsis
Two young women, identical in appearance but strangers to one another, pursue the same dream of stardom: Véronique, a beautiful French chanteuse-in-waiting, and Weronika, her counterpart living in Poland. The film traces their parallel journeys through ambition, disappointment and small triumphs, each confronting the pressures of career, identity and longing in her own way. Véronique’s path takes an unexpected turn when she becomes involved with Alexandre Fabbri, an enigmatic puppeteer whose gentle eccentricity and uncanny insight force her to face deeper questions about who she is and what she truly wants.
