Is the movie The Golden Child available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
The Golden Child (1986) sends Eddie Murphy’s wisecracking Chandler Jarrell on an unlikely, mystical quest—when the Tibetan Golden Child is abducted by the evil Sardo Numspa, Chandler must team up with the priestess Kee Nang to restore the balance of humankind. Equal parts supernatural adventure, fish-out-of-water comedy and occult mystery, the film blends Los Angeles grit with Tibetan legend and a race-against-time to save the Chosen One. It wasn’t a major awards contender, but it remains a distinctive piece of ’80s pop-magic cinema. In this article you’ll find where to stream the film—whether it’s available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or Apple TV+—and what to expect before you press play.
