Synopsis

Twenty-five-year-old sound engineer Aki, a former member of the popular band Crude Play, walks away just as the group prepares for a major-label debut — yet he continues to supply their music under the pseudonym producer Soichiro. He becomes involved with Riko, a 16-year-old high school student with a remarkable singing voice whose father runs a small produce stall; Riko, who finds comfort in his quiet humming, is unaware of Aki’s past. Riko performs in a band with her childhood friend Yuichi and bandmate Sota, and her talent soon attracts the attention of producer Soichiro.
