Synopsis
Eddie, Dov, Yvan and their circle have traded the declining Sentier for the thriving suburb of Aubervilliers, where the once-dominant Jewish fabric merchants have given way to a new generation of bold, energetic Chinese wholesalers. The friends remain tightly knit, navigating everyday family dramas and the ups and downs of running small businesses. Dov is still lighthearted, Eddie a restless entrepreneur, Yvan cool and unflappable, Karine relaxed, Sandra steely, Chochana sweetly naive, and Serge reckless and a compulsive fabulist. Patrick, meanwhile, is madly in love—but the object of his affection is difficult to reach. Just when their routine seems secure, a sudden misfortune blows in and threatens to shatter the group's cohesion.
