Synopsis

Divorced Laura LeCrois returns to her Louisiana hometown after twenty years when her father disappears, only to find everything changed: her father sunk in crippling bank debt, her old flame now serving as the town sheriff, and her ex-husband—a once-renowned professor—quietly snapping up parcels of nearby marshland.
