Born into a bloodline steeped in sorcery, sisters Sally and Gillian Owens have largely kept their distance from the family craft. When Gillian’s violent boyfriend, Jimmy Angelov, is abruptly killed, the sisters are forced to plunge into dangerous, practical magic to try to right the situation. As a suspicious cop, Gary Hallet, closes in, their rushed attempts to bring Jimmy back go horribly wrong: they revive his body but inadvertently bind it to a dark, vengeful spirit. Now the Owens sisters must confront the unleashed evil before it destroys their family and everything they hoped to leave behind.
