Synopsis

Zumo, the reserved captain who has long dominated the college badminton scene, sees his authority shaken when Kao—a tall, rebellious and strikingly handsome freshman—arrives late on the first day and, with a single blistering smash, brings down the team’s unbeaten star. Their explosive encounter catches the eye of a calculating coach, who hands them a harsh ultimatum: they must pair up for men’s doubles or face consequences, and bizarrely, remain inseparable both during practice and in their everyday lives. Forced into constant proximity, the two evolve from bitter adversaries into a tense, reluctant partnership, as Kao’s persistent energy slowly wears away the icy barrier Zumo has built around himself.
