On behalf of the Stream Tracker team, here’s a quick introduction to Bambino! (2007) and where to find it online. Adapted from Tetsuji Sekiya’s award-winning cooking manga — which took the 2008 Shogakukan Manga Award for seinen/general manga — the live-action drama follows the trials of a young chef learning the ropes in a high-pressure restaurant kitchen, from sauce and pasta to service and mentorship. First broadcast on NTV from April 18 to June 27, 2007 (and later shown in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico on TV Japan in early 2008), Bambino! mixes culinary craft and kitchen drama.
