Synopsis
In 2026 PowNed and producer NewBe will premiere Bovensloters on NPO Start — a hard-edged crime drama shot through with dry Brabant humor that fuses tense thrills and sharp satire. The plot follows Jamie (Na Young Jeon), a Korean‑Dutch anthropologist from the Randstad who finds herself inexplicably implicated in the death of Brabant underworld figure Jacques van Iersel (Jochen Otten) after a string of strange, escalating events. With no obvious way out, she winds up at a remote farm owned by the inscrutable Petra (Margôt Ros), where isolation and rural secrets force Jamie to confront an unfamiliar, darker side of herself — a side she soon realizes she may enjoy all too much.
