Is the TV show Bring 'Em Back Alive available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
Bring 'Em Back Alive (1982) is a short-lived jungle adventure that tried to bottle the serial-era spirit of Frank Buck and the pulp safaris of the 1930s. Starring Bruce Boxleitner, Cindy Morgan and Ron O'Neal, the series set in steamy Singapore leaned into big-game trapping, cliffhanger-style action and the Raiders-of-the-Lost-Ark vibe that shows like Tales of the Gold Monkey were also chasing. It lasted just 17 episodes before being cancelled after running up against ABC hits like Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley. Here at Stream Tracker, we take the guesswork out of where to watch classics like this. In the article that follows, we check whether Bring 'Em Back Alive is available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or AppleTV+, note regional differences and point to any legal ways to stream or buy the archive episodes so you can relive the jungle menace from your living room.
Synopsis
Set in 1930s Singapore, the adventure series Bring 'Em Back Alive stars Bruce Boxleitner with Cindy Morgan and Ron O'Neal, following globe-trotting exploits inspired by the real-life big-game trapper Frank Buck. Broadcast in the U.S. from September 1982 to May 1983, the show sought to capture the pulpy, Indiana Jones–style spirit that other contemporary series were aiming for. Frank Buck, a celebrated 1930s animal collector, had written a memoir of the same name and appeared in film adaptations — including a 1932 movie and the serial Jungle Menace — which helped make his reputation. The series produced 17 episodes before it was cancelled, struggling in the ratings against ABC staples Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley.
