Synopsis

Humanity reached unprecedented prosperity after unlocking an information-based power called Mana, which eliminated war, hunger, and pollution and ushered in an era of peace. Angelise Ikaruga Misurugi, the First Princess of the Misurugi Empire, grows up safe and favored—until she discovers she is a Norma, a person unable to access Mana and therefore shunned by society. Stripped of her status and exiled to a remote island, she must start over among other Normas, who survive by piloting giant humanoid weapons called Para-mails. Together, they become the last line of defense against monstrous dragons that invade from another dimension, forcing Angelise to confront prejudice, reclaim her identity, and choose what kind of leader she will be.
