Is the TV show Dragon Ball GT available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
At Stream Tracker, we’re taking a look back at Dragon Ball GT (1996), the oddball chapter of the franchise that sends Goku, now turned back into a child by one of Emperor Pilaf’s ill‑fated wishes, on a race against time across the stars. Joined by Trunks and his granddaughter Pan, Goku hunts the Black Star Dragon Balls—powerful artifacts with a deadly catch: if they’re not all gathered within a year, Earth is destroyed. Expect spacefaring adventures, familiar faceoffs, and the series’ signature blend of high‑stakes battles and light‑hearted moments. Dragon Ball GT has always divided fans: it’s rich in franchise lore and bold in its choices, but it didn’t receive the same critical accolades as some other Dragon Ball entries and hasn’t racked up major industry awards. Still, it remains a must‑see for those curious about alternate takes on the saga or who want to follow the cast beyond Z. Wondering where to stream it now? Availability of Dragon Ball GT can vary by country, so on Stream Tracker we’ll check whether it’s currently on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or Apple TV+ in your region and tell you how to jump back into the hunt for those Dragon Balls.
Synopsis
A decade after leaving home to perfect his fighting skills, Goku's solitude is shattered when a cunning Emperor Pilaf exploits the Dragon Balls and inadvertently wishes him back into childhood. With time slipping away, Goku teams up with Trunks and his own granddaughter, Pan, and they rocket into the far reaches of space to track down the legendary Black Star Dragon Balls. But those orbs hide a deadly clause: if all seven are not gathered and returned to Earth within one year, the planet will be destroyed.
