Synopsis
A wealthy elderly man who was once rescued and healed by a country herbalist never fulfilled his promise to return. Years later he is rushed to hospital with a heart attack and is saved by Xie Fu An, the healer’s granddaughter and a skilled herbal doctor in her own right. Struck by Fu An’s resemblance to the woman he loved, he vows to bestow his entire fortune on the man who marries her. His presumptive heir, the arrogant grandson Yan Da Feng, panics at the threat to his inheritance and hires someone to eliminate her — but when he meets Fu An, he unexpectedly falls in love and resolves to win her hand himself.
