Synopsis

Aurora Guerra became a household name as a teenager after landing the lead in the hit series The Chosen Ones. Years earlier her parents, Irene and Julio, had entered her in the audition; when Irene saw that another girl might get the part, she manipulated the selection to favor Aurora. Lúcia, who shared the same dream of stardom, also tried out but, after discovering Irene’s interference, confronted her—an altercation that ended in a violent accident, leaving Lúcia with lifelong injuries and destroying her chances of an acting career. Twenty years on, Lúcia is consumed by vengeance, determined to reclaim what she believes Aurora stole from her, unaware that Aurora herself was another casualty of Irene’s ruthless schemes.
