Synopsis

Qiao Jia-en returns to Taiwan with her boyfriend Wang Xiu-kai to reconnect with her distant, wealthy father, but a tragic car accident leaves Jia-en with a concussion and severe memory loss while Xiu-kai falls into brain death. Seizing the opportunity, Jia-en’s supposedly loyal friend Zhao Ai-li impersonates her to gain access to the family and the comforts of the life Jia-en was meant to inherit. At the same time, pastry chef Xing Shao-tian collapses and urgently needs a heart transplant—he receives Xiu-kai’s heart and, after the surgery, experiences a mysterious pull toward Jia-en when they cross paths. As Shao-tian and Jia-en grow closer, Duan Ruo-fan, Shao-tian’s half-brother, is also increasingly drawn to her, complicating loyalties and desires. Caught between betrayal, lost memories, and the possibility of new love, Jia-en must piece together who she was—and who she can become—while Shao-tian faces the question of whether a borrowed heart can heal more than the body.
