Synopsis

A four-part drama about Nastya, a fragile but determined artist freshly divorced and desperate to become a mother, who believes she has found her chance in Yegor, a guarded boy with a sorrowful past. Yegor is the son of an incarcerated crime figure, and his every move is watched by forces from the criminal underworld that refuse to let him slip from their influence. As Nastya works to create a safe, loving home, she and Yegor must navigate fear, loyalty and suspicion—her maternal instincts colliding with the dangers that shadow the boy. Their growing attachment forces both to confront painful truths and make impossible choices between protection and the possibility of a new life.
