Synopsis

Giannis, a meticulous retired schoolteacher and widower, has slipped into a life of strict routines and quiet loneliness since his wife’s death. A few kilometers away, Christina, a young and determined single mother, struggles to hold together long shifts at a sandwich shop while raising her two children alone: seven-year-old Eleftheria and one-year-old Kleomenis. Because of a massive bureaucratic error, Giannis is mistakenly enrolled in a state-funded program he never applied for and is registered as a neighborhood babysitter. The mix-up sends him straight to Christina’s home, where he is tasked with caring for her children.
