Is the TV show Reborn as a Space Mercenary: I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship! available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?

I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship! (2026) drops you straight into a cosmic mashup of isekai and space opera: office drone Takahiro Satou wakes up as Hiro, captain of a ridiculously powerful starship, trades spreadsheets for ship systems, and sets off across the galaxy as a mercenary, recruiting allies, fighting space battles and — crucially — trying to buy a planet-sized home so he can restock on carbonated drinks. This article looks at where to stream the series across major services (including Netflix) and guides you through its availability on Disney+, Prime Video and Apple TV+. At the time of writing there are no major industry awards listed for the show; any accolades will be noted below.

Synopsis

Takahiro Satou, a nondescript office employee, suddenly finds himself inside the immersive world of his favorite sci‑fi game — and in command of a powerful starship. Taking on the persona of Hiro, a freelance mercenary, he roams the galaxy, clashing with foes and assembling an eclectic crew. But triumph brings unexpected drawbacks: he has no permanent place to call home and, worse yet, no access to carbonated drinks. Determined to solve both problems, he embarks on an absurdly earnest quest to buy a house on a distant planet — only to learn that settling down among the stars is messier, stranger, and far more entertaining than he ever imagined.
