Synopsis
A humble, unassuming teacher named Vasily is filmed delivering a raw, frustrated tirade about his country’s dire state. When one of his students uploads the clip to YouTube it goes viral, and the public embraces his blunt honesty—so much so that strangers start donating to launch a presidential bid on his behalf. He wins against all expectations, and the series follows his bewildered adjustment to life as head of state: he insists on keeping his simple routines—sharing a flat with his parents, borrowing cash from friends at month’s end and biking to work—even though his commute now takes him to the most powerful office in the nation.
