Synopsis
Fourteen-year-old Jarvis Raines expects nothing more than a dull present from his Aunt Marlene when he unwraps a chemistry kit on Christmas morning. Instead, a misfired experiment triggers a spectacular chemical reaction that obliterates his family home. After the manufacturer, Knickknack Toys, refuses to take responsibility, Jarvis takes them to court — wins the case — and improbably inherits the company. Now a teenager thrust into the cutthroat world of toy manufacturing, he must juggle school, friendships, and family while learning to run a business, outwit corporate rivals, and control the very inventions that upended his life.
